TODAY: Partly Sunny, Stray Shower. Hi 65.
TONIGHT: Mostly Cloudy, Stray Shower. Lo 52.
SATURDAY: Mostly Cloudy, Stray Shower. Hi 58.
SUNDAY: Sunny Start, Clouds Late. Hi 60.
Yesterday was tremendous! High temperatures topped off in the upper 70s. As evening approached, however, a strong cold front barrelled through western PA and caused severe t-storms, and even prompted a few tornado warnings. Several wind damage reports came in across the western half of the Commonwealth last night. Our region avoided severe weather but did pick up a few showers overnight.
Some more stray showers are possible today and Saturday with a secondary push of cooler air. Again, rainfall should be light through this time period. There will be peeks of sun too, but clouds will dominate the next two days. Highs today will be in the mid-60s and fall into the 50s for tomorrow. Temperatures Sunday will struggle to get back into the lower 60s, and a 10-20 mph breeze will add to the chill. There will be some sun to start Sunday, but by evening, an approaching warm front could bring some showers back into the region. That rain will set up a damp and cooler stretch of weather heading into next week. In fact, there will be two systems on tap for next week that could bring the region a few inches of rainfall. Stay tuned.
