(State College) — U.S. Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, according to a press release from his office. They say he is vaccinated, but got tested after experiencing cold-like symptoms.
He is being treated at Walter Reed Medical Center “out of an abundance of caution.”
“He is in good spirits and further updates will be made available in the coming days,” according to the release.
Thompson’s 15th district covers a large portion of Central Pennsylvania, including Clearfield, Cameron, Elk, McKean, Warren, Forrest and part of Centre County.
