A clipper system capable of producing light snow will overspread the region between 8-10PM this evening. This will be a quick hitting system, with light snow coming to an end during the early morning hours. Scattered rain and snow showers will linger throughout the morning and afternoon hours before we get a brief break on Monday.

When all is said and done, not much accumulation is expected. Higher elevation areas to the north of Harrisburg could see up to 1" of snow. Areas to the south and east of Harrisburg are not expected to see much accumulation other than a coating on the coldest surfaces (like trees, grass, or rooftops).

By Sunday morning some light snow showers will still be around, but little to no accumulations are expected. Highs are expected to break 40 degrees, so any accumulated snow will likely melt. There is relief in sight as we are forecasting highs in the 50s by the end of the work week.
