TODAY: Clear, Dry & Comfortable. Hi 76. Winds N 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT: Clear & Cool. Lo 56. Winds N 5-10 mph.
FRIDAY: Clear. Hi 78. Lo 58.
Highs will fail to touch 80 for many across the Midstate Thursday. Some early cloud cover pushed north from Idalia will clear out within the next few hours as the tropical system moves east. Lower dewpoints will further add to your outdoor comfort, making for an enjoyable day outside. Rain chances will be absent Thursday. Lows drop into the 50s overnight.
Beyond the next few days, a rapid warm-up is on tap heading into the weekend, with highs climbing into the 90s by Sunday and into the low mid 90s by the midpoint of next week. A ridge of higher pressure moving eastward will clear out the skies and allow for the building of a substantial dome of heat heading into the first week of September. Rain chances will be absent with the significant lack of moisture.
