Warmth and humidity continues this weekend with scattered showers, possibly a storm

TODAY: AM Fog and Drizzle. Midday Peeks of Sun, A Few Stray PM Showers and Storms. Hi 75.

TONIGHT: Mostly Cloudy, Humid and Mild. Lo 62.

SUNDAY: AM Fog, Midday Clearing with PM Stray Showers/Storms Developing from West to East. Hi 80.

Yesterday brought a little extra warmth and humidity as the sun broke through the stubborn low to mid-level clouds. With the additional moisture this morning there are pockets of fog and drizzle in the Midstate, but overall that will be limited to the morning hours. Some midday breaks in the clouds should return today. If the sun is out long enough that could help spark more showers and storms. Coverage of the showers and storms should be similar to yesterday with the rain widely scattered and plenty of dry periods in-between.

Later this evening and tonight any showers or storms should weaken or dissipate near or after sunset. It will be humid and mild with temperatures in the low-60s.

Sunday sees a change in the weather pattern. The east flow continues during the morning, but as the day goes on a westerly wind may help to break up more clouds and bring some sunshine. Showers and storms should develop in the afternoon from west to east. Keep an eye on radar, but overall rain chances do not increase much compared to Saturday.

A stronger front arrives Monday afternoon triggering a line of showers and storms. Some of these storms may be gusty, and we will keep monitoring that. Behind the front cooler and less humid air with sunshine arrives for Tuesday and Wednesday.
